Yeri & Yeni

With roots in the islands of São Nicolau and Santiago, Yeri and Yeni grew up in Sintra. It was this cultural diversity, between Sintra and Cape Verde, that shaped the duo’s taste for blending influences from Cape Verdean, Portuguese, Angolan, Brazilian, Senegalese, and North American music, as well as genres such as R&B, Soul, Funk, Pop, Zouk, Kizomba and Jazz. Their repertoire includes a collaboration with Branko and Nayr Faquirá, and they have already performed on stages such as MIL Lisboa, the Gulbenkian Gardens, Square Festival, BoCA Bienal, and Festival Cuca Monga.
