Nayr Fáquira

Nayr Faquirá is a 27-year-old Luso-Mozambican singer, producer and songwriter who has been carving out a solid and diverse path in the music industry over the past decade. With a wide-ranging repertoire that reflects both her versatility and passion for music, Nayr blends her cultural roots with a contemporary approach that sets her apart within today’s artistic landscape.

She has released two EPs under her own name, exploring sounds that range from soul to afrobeat, always driven by lyrics rich in emotion and authenticity. Her talent has also led her to collaborate with major figures in Lusophone music, including Selma Uamusse, Valete, Ivandro, Deezy and Garry, further establishing her as one of the most promising voices of her generation.

One of her most emblematic milestones was the creation of the theme song for the iconic youth series Morangos com Açúcar, with the track “Quem Tu És.” The song not only marked a generation but also cemented Nayr Faquirá’s name in the Portuguese musical imagination.
